Always expect the unexpected from Colette and Adidas old school Consortium this Paris interpretation is no exception as once again, the Parisian retail experience give a cult design a look that confidently walks the line between simplicity and the avant-garde. Originally incorporating French flag blue, white and red in its early incarnations, for Colette's redux, a white leather upper and branded tongue are accompanied by three types of dot pattern within the white 3-Stripes one red, one blue, and one mixing both.

Inverting the colours so it's predominantly black water-resistant fabric and red suede 3-Stripes and heeltab that retains the original slouchy shape.Paying homage to the Soho area where Crooked Tongues is based, steeped Adidas nizza in sleazy history, and tweaked for wet weather use, given the country's climate, a long raincoat theme down to a check lining seems appropriate. The traditional dimpled tongue is mixed with another local tradition, the British pint, while Adidas gazelle shoes a semi translucent sole captures those perpetual puddles at street level. Gold lettering and branded lacetips captures more of the best of British that this makeup brings.

Adidas Originals Consortium collaboration brings you their newest addition to the City Series. Four different sneakers designed by four different city boutiques from around the world. Collaborations include: UNDFTD x L.A. , Sole Service x Oslo , Solebox x Berlin , Bodega x Boston . All four styles should be Adidas goodyear available at select Adidas Originals Consortium retailers such as DQM , as well as their respective boutiques later this month.

This Saturday will be the biggest sneaker day so far in 2013 with several major brands bringing forth significant releases. The potential sleeper hit of the bunch is a long-lost Three Stripes runner, historically overshadowed by the ZX flagship line. The adidas Consortium CNTR follows up on this weekend's Hanon Centaur resurrection , updating the silo with seamless breathable construction that's connected to the past by suede framing. Click through to see three monochromatic colorups that will be arriving on the second of next month at premium accounts like Crooked Tongues .

The classic DNA of both shoes is clearly intact on the revamped designs, but modern-day touches on each Adidas barricade gives them a pop of unique flair: the re-worked Falcon features a high sock style collar and a Primeknit upper, while the usual lace system is replaced by a minimal toggle variation. The modernized SS2g already a redone version of the classic adidas Superstar features the same toggle lacing system, a stripped-back design where suede overlays and a neoprene tongue cover an off-white mesh upper while bright yellow stitching arrives around the toe cap. Both arrive in a clean combination of white, navy blue, and yellow, and are set Image to release at authorized Three Stripes stockists August 8th.
